Indian TV actress Sanchita Ogle dies at 22

MUMBAI: Indian television actress Sanchita Ogle has died at the age of 22 in an apparent suicide, according to Indian media reports.

The incident reportedly took place at the actress’s residence in her native village on Sunday evening. According to police, preliminary investigations suggest that Sanchita locked her room from the inside and allegedly hanged herself from a ceiling fan using a saree.

Family members and residents rushed her to a nearby hospital after discovering the incident, but doctors pronounced her dead on arrival.

Police officials said that after being informed of the incident, law enforcement personnel reached the scene and completed the necessary legal formalities before sending the body for a post-mortem examination.

A case of unnatural death has been registered on the complaint of the actress’s father. Authorities stated that the exact circumstances surrounding her death have not yet been determined and investigations are ongoing from multiple angles.

Sanchita Ogle was known for her work in Indian television and had appeared in several popular productions, including “Kumkum Bhagya” and “Wagle Ki Duniya.” She also featured in films such as “Chhaava” and “Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout.”
