LPG prices increased by Rs 20 in Quetta

Shopkeepers selling LPG on higher rates, consumers worried

QUETTA: The Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) price in Quetta has increased by 20 rupees per kilogram, according to market sources, who have reported a price rise from 380 to 400 rupees per kilogram.

LPG prices in nearby areas exceed 430 rupees per kilogram, which is the highest price point in those locations. The gas pipeline supply disruption from Quetta’s Western Bypass has caused increased demand in the city, which has resulted in price increases.

LPG dealers explained that the current price increase results from two factors, which are restricted supply and rising demand.
