Petrol price cut likely next week, says Finance Minister

Iranian petrol price surges in Balochistan amid border business closure

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani has said that after diesel, a decision will be taken to reduce the price of petrol as well.

The Minister of State, while talking to the media at the Karachi Chamber of Commerce, said that a decision will be taken to reduce the price of petrol next Friday, this reduction will be made keeping in mind the global prices.

He said that the ceasefire has benefited not only Pakistan but also the economies of the world, the ceasefire will be used as a reason for improvement in the economy. He said that Pakistan has been able to join the global Eurobond market after 4 years. He said that Karachi is the artery of Pakistan’s economic activities, the purpose of the Karachi visit is to solve the problems hindering economic development.
