Lahore: As Ramadan starts in Lahore, prices go up a lot in Pakistan. The government is trying hard to make things cheaper during Ramadan, but prices keep going higher.
Ramadan is a special time, but it’s tough for many families because everything costs more. Even though the government keeps saying they’ll help, prices still go way up during Ramadan, making it hard for people to enjoy the month like they want to.
Here are the prices for various meat products available in Lahore:
- 500 grams of Beef Mince: Rs. 630
- 900 grams of Beef Boneless Cubes: Rs. 1260
- 900 grams of Veal Mix: Rs. 1093
- 500 grams of Veal Boneless Cubes: Rs. 865
- 900 grams of Beef Bong with bones: Rs. 945
- 500 grams of Veal Boneless Cube: Rs. 865
- 1 KG of Beef: 750

Live Broiler (per kilogram) sold wholesale: Rs. 388
Live Broiler (per kilogram) sold in retail: Rs. 403
Broiler Meat (per kilogram) sold in retail: Rs. 584
Eggs from farms (per packet): Rs. 7830
Eggs from farms (per dozen): 265
