QUETTA: The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) on Tuesday announced the results of the Intermediate Annual Examination 2024.
Out of 99,887 students, 93,768 passed, giving an overall pass rate of 93.9%. In the first year examinations, 46,490 students appeared, of which 42,894 passed (92.3% pass rate). For second-year students, 50,874 out of 53,397 passed, a pass rate of 95.3 percent.
A total of 3,055 students were absent, and the results of 83 were canceled due to cheating.
Shamrez Khan and Sharifullah of Balochistan Residential College Loralai secured the first position with 1051 marks. Muhammad Zahid and Sajjad Hussain secured second position with 1050 marks while Salma Mehboob secured third position with 1049 marks.
