LAHORE: The Punjab Government has set a new application deadline for the Chief Minister (CM) Laptop Scheme 2026, which requires students to complete their applications before 15 February 2026.

The CM Laptop Scheme 2026 provides free Core i7 laptops to eligible students to support digital learning, research, and academic development. Students must meet the minimum marks criteria, with BS students needing 65% marks, medical and dental students 80%, and minority students 55% to qualify.

The scheme establishes a digital access program which provides Punjab students with contemporary educational technology, according to officials. Students who fail to apply before the new deadline may miss the opportunity to receive laptops under this year’s program.

The Punjab Higher Education Department (HED) has confirmed that the verification process will be finished immediately after the application period ends, which will allow for merit-based candidate selection in the 2026 scheme.

The online application and verification process is ongoing, and eligible students from public and private universities are encouraged to complete their applications through the official portal: https://cmlaptophed.punjab.gov.pk.
