KARACHI: NED University Karachi, Sindh, has launched the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme, which will distribute 20,000 laptops to students throughout the province.
Federal Government Spokesperson for Sindh Affairs Raja Khaliq Zaman Ansari explained that the initiative aims to provide students with modern technological equipment together with digital skill development because he considers youth education to be vital for national development.
He said the current federal government has restored the program, which was discontinued in 2018, through its new goal of maintaining transparency while executing the program.
The Prime Minister’s Youth Programme leadership deserves credit from Ansari because they revived the program, according to him. The laptop distribution will help students with their research work, information technology studies, and advanced educational activities.
He said that the federal government is implementing specific actions to make sure that national education programs and technology initiatives reach students who study in Sindh.
He confirmed that the government will maintain its dedication to educational policies while providing practical programs that support youth development.
