Complete ban Imposed on teacher transfers in THIS province!

Sindh makes licensing test compulsory for teacher recruitment

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Elementary and Secondary Education Department has imposed a complete ban on transfers and postings of all teachers from September 10.

Officials said the move was necessary as schools have resumed academic activities after the summer vacations, and any reshuffle of staff at this stage could affect classroom teaching.

Teachers of all cadres have been directed not to submit transfer applications to the Education Minister’s office or secretariat during the ban period. The department has warned that strict disciplinary action will be taken against violators.

District education offices have been directed to ensure full implementation of the ban. Under the policy, transfers will be allowed only once a year during vacations and exclusively through the e-transfer system.

The education minister urged teachers to dedicate their efforts to the education of students, stressing that uninterrupted academic activity should remain the top priority after schools reopen.
