ISLAMABAD: The federal government has made an official announcement for student visits to Türkiye for Matric exam toppers of all boards, as announced in an Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) circular.
The initiative, undertaken by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training in association with the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, will allow students of Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) across the nation to travel to Türkiye on official passports.
Eligibility Criteria for Students
As per the advisory, students need to fulfill some conditions before leaving:
A doctor’s report from a government hospital certifying physical fitness to travel.
Consent of parents or guardians in writing to participate.
Two white shalwar kameez suits with footwear should be arranged by all the students, whereas a green blazer will be provided by the ministry.
One-shoulder bag is permissible for the students, whereas laptops and cameras are prohibited.
Parents’ or guardians’ phone numbers should be submitted beforehand.
The IBCC has also directed that the expense of pick and drop services shall be borne by the concerned boards.
Deadline for Documentation
All the BISEs have been asked to send passports and the required documents of the chosen students to the IBCC Secretariat, Islamabad, by 19 September 2025, for further dispatch to the concerned authorities.
Supervision and Coordination
Chairpersons of all BISEs are directed to ensure smooth implementation of the program and guidance of students through the process required.
