ISLAMABAD: In an interconnected world, education is worldwide, and now, aspiring scholars from lower and middle-income Commonwealth countries can apply to study at one of the UK‘s top universities without ever leaving home.
Applications are now open for the Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships 2025. Through full tuition funding support with the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC), from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, eligible students can complete a UK master‘s degree through distance learning.
This is of tremendous worth to any academically motivated person who has financial barriers to obtaining a global qualification while continuing their personal or professional life at home.
These scholarships will be offered for part-time distance learning postgraduate study at the University of Edinburgh, which is home to some of the best researchers in the world and is recognized for academic excellence and innovation.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must fulfill the following requirements: Be a citizen of, have refugee status, or be a British Protected Person from one of the eligible Commonwealth countries.
Be a permanent resident of one of the eligible countries Have a first degree (the equivalent of a UK undergraduate degree) with first-class or upper second-class as graded by their institution, or some other qualification and relevant work experience Be a low–income student – the scholarship must be essential for your ability to study Provide at least one academic or professional reference.
Program Availability and Number of Scholarships
The following master‘s programs are available under the Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships 2025. Each program has a limited number of scholarships listed below: MSc Clinical Pain Management, Microbiology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, and Paediatric Emergency Medicine – 5 scholarships available.
MSc Data Science for Health, Epidemiology and Public Health – 10 scholarships are available. Additionally, MSc Digital Education – 5 scholarships, and MSc Surgical Sciences – 10 scholarships are also available.
