Govt extends winter holidays for all educational institutions

LAHORE: The winter break has been prolonged for all public and private universities and colleges in Punjab by the Higher Education Department of Punjab, with the institutes now to be closed until January 16.

An official notification stated that academic activities for higher educational institutions will start in the month of January on the 19th. The notification further mentioned that no modification will be made to the exam calendar, and all the examinations will take place according to the earlier declared schedule.

The Higher Education Department of Punjab has announced that the extension applies to both state-operated and privately-operated universities and colleges throughout Punjab.
