LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has given orders to the competent authorities to activate the operations of the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital and the Jinnah Cardiology Institute in Lahore this month.
The order was issued during a meeting with the Chief Minister. The officials also decided to re-advertise the post of head of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment at the meeting.
During the same meeting, Maryam Nawaz asked the departments to finish the rebuilding of Lady Willingdon Hospital as quickly as possible. In a different context, the Chief Minister of Punjab sent his congratulations to the Pakistan Navy for the missile test that was successfully carried out.
She commended not only the military but also the scientists and engineers for the successful test of the LY 80N air defence missile. Maryam Nawaz remarked that Pakistan has taken a significant step forward in its defence capabilities with the successful test of the LY 80N air defence missile.
