Sindh govt orders students to return free textbooks

ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has issued the revised curriculum for the degree programs in Business and Management Studies,  after a comprehensive review carried out by the National Curriculum Revision Committee.

The meeting, which was held at the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences), Peshawar, reviewed the draft curriculum prepared by a team of senior academics/subject experts from universities across the country with the facilitation provided by the HEC’s Curriculum Division, said a press release issued on Wednesday.

It applies to the BBA, BS, MBA, EMBA, MS, and Associate Degree programs in Business and Management. The updated curriculum has been developed to reflect emerging industry trends, evolving market needs, and international academic standards.

According to HEC, the new framework is aligned with NQF and its Undergraduate and Graduate Education Policies 2023; therefore, it will ensure more consistency, quality, and relevance at the national level in business education.

The NCRC session was presided over by Dr. Naukhez Sarwar, Professor and Principal at NUST Business School, as Convener, while Dr. Farooq-e-Azam Cheema, Provost at KSBL Karachi, was Co-Convener. The meeting was coordinated by Hidayatullah Kasi, Deputy Director, who served as Secretary of the Committee.
