ISLAMABAD: Students in Pakistan applying to medical and dental colleges take the Medical and Dental College Admission Test, a standardized exam.
In South Asia, the exam is an essential component of the admissions procedure for undergraduate programs in medicine and dentistry.
The purpose of the MDCAT is to assess a candidate’s ability to solve problems, think critically, and understand the concepts and principles of the natural, behavioral, and social sciences—all of which are necessary for studying medicine.
It’s a paper-based, standardized multiple-choice test.
MDCAT 2024 Registration Date
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council is expected to start the registration process for the MDCAT 2024 after Eidul Adha. Usually, the registration is opened a month before the tests.
Reports said the online registration process will be started in July 2024 and the MDCAT test will be conducted in August 2024.
