LAHORE: A poll was released by Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat to gauge public opinion on the possible extension of the winter vacations for schools, with the majority voting in favor of extending the vacations.
According to the poll results, 87 percent of the public supported the extension of the winter vacations, while 13 percent voted in favor of opening schools on the scheduled date.
According to the details, 174,600 people voted in favor of extending the vacations, while others expressed their opinion in favor of opening schools on time.
This poll is being conducted on the official Facebook page of Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, the results of which will be taken into account in the upcoming decision.
Earlier, the education minister sought public opinion on whether holidays should be extended in educational institutions of Punjab.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat asked that educational institutions be open from January 12, or the holidays be extended till January 19.
