KARACHI: The provincial government of Sindh has adjusted the schedule of matriculation and intermediate examinations in light of Ramadan 2025, here on Tuesday.
A steering committee meeting chaired by Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah decided that the matriculation theory examinations will now start from April 7, 2025, and the intermediate examinations will be held on April 28, 2025.
Earlier, the SSC examinations were scheduled to be held on March 15 and the HSC examinations on April 15.
The practical examinations of matriculation will start from March 10, while the date of the practical examinations of intermediate will be announced later.
The new academic session of schools in Sindh will now start from April 7, while the session of colleges will start from August 1, 2025.
The steering committee also confirmed that according to the current schedule, the summer vacations will be from June 1 to July 31 and the winter vacations will be from December 22 to December 31.
