13 terrorists killed in KP security operations: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: At least 19 terrorists of the Indian proxy Fitnat-ul-Khawarij were killed in three intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces launched an intelligence-based operation in the Gulonu area of ​​Mohmand district after receiving information about the terrorists.

During the operation, security forces effectively targeted the terrorists’ hideout and killed 14 Indian-sponsored Khawarij after a fierce exchange of fire.

Similarly, another intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Datakhel area of ​​North Waziristan, where 4 more Khawarij were killed in an exchange of fire.

In addition, another encounter took place in the Bannu district, where security forces killed another Khawarij. Arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the slain Indian-sponsored terrorists.

“Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from Indian sponsored killed Khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in these areas,” the release said.

A clearance operation is underway in the area to eliminate any other hiding Khawarij.

“Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other kharji found in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of Indian Sponsored Terrorism from the country,” as per the ISPR release.
