Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq: 435 Afghan Taliban operatives killed, says information minister

ISLAMABAD: 435 Afghan Taliban operatives have been killed, while 630 have been injured in the ongoing Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq by the Pakistan Armed Forces, according to the Federal Minister of Information, Attaullah Tarar.

He further stated that 188 checkposts have been destroyed, while 31 have been taken from the Taliban.

He further stated that 188 tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery guns have been destroyed, while 51 different areas in Afghanistan have been targeted by the Air Force.

Earlier, according to security sources, after the tension on the Pak-Afghan border, the Pakistan Army advanced into the Afghan border area under “Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq” in an effective counter-attack.

Security sources say that on February 28, a special video of the Pakistani soldiers’ operation inside Afghanistan has also come to light.

According to reports, the soldiers crossed the border fence adjacent to North Waziristan and advanced towards a central post of the Afghan Taliban. And on seeing the Pakistani forces, the opposing elements retreated.

According to sources, the Pakistan Army took control of the central post during the effective counter-attack. The compounds were cleared, and the flags installed there were taken down.

Security sources say that the operation “Ghazab-ul-Haq” will continue until its set goals are achieved.
