Islamabad: Politicians have condemned the reported attacks and heckling of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Khwaja Saad Rafique and Haneef Abbasi in Islamabad’s Kohsar Market by female political activists. Local media said that on Tuesday in the capital, two seasoned politicians were thrust into an awkward situation when female political activists threw obscenities and disparaging remarks at Nawaz’s aides.

While Abbasi and Rafique were seated in Kohsar Market, these political activists began chanting about what they claimed to be electoral manipulation.

Unverified accounts state that the women used derogatory words, and Haneef Abbasi then attempted to videotape them. According to reports, that sparked another fight. Even trying to smack the lawmakers, the women did so.

As they spread the word on social media, PTI activists are having a field day. As for the Islamabad police, they indicated that no PML-N politician has yet to make a case.
