Peshawar District Administration Bans Processions

Section 144 imposed across the district, the ban will remain in force for seven days

The Peshawar district administration has imposed a ban on public processions, the ban will remain in effect for seven days.

According to the announcement issued by the Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, section 144 has been implemented across the district, under which gathering of five or more people, processions and demonstrations will also be banned.

Peshawar district administration has also made it illegal to carry weapons, display in public and put tinted glasses in vehicles and illegal number plates, aerial firing and fireworks have also been banned.

According to the announcement, the ban will be enforced for 7 days from today in the entire district, and the violators will be dealt with according to the law.
