Seven terrorists killed in an operation near Pak-Afghan border: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reports that an intelligence-based operation along the Pakistan-Afghan border resulted in the deaths of seven militants.

In a recent intelligence-based operation in Zhob district, Balochistan, close to the Pak-Afghan border, security personnel engaged in a firefight that effectively eliminated seven terrorists, according to ISPR.

The intelligence-driven operation, which took place in the Sambaza area of Zhob, was directed towards terrorists who were killing innocent civilians and engaging in anti-forces activities.

The ISPR attested to the fact that the terrorists who were killed had committed a number of terrorist attacks on law enforcement and civilian targets.

After the operation, weapons and ammo were found on the terrorists who had been eliminated.

There is currently a clearance operation in place to get rid of any terrorist threats that may still exist.

The ISPR emphasized the security forces’ dedication to eliminating the threat of terrorism and guaranteeing the region’s safety.

The intelligence-driven operation is a reflection of the continuous efforts to protect the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan and to combat terrorist operations that endanger the lives of local civilians and military personnel.
