KARACHI: In a major relief measure, the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has announced a cash assistance of Rs2,000 for motorcycle owners across the province. The initiative is aimed at providing financial support to citizens, especially those who rely on motorcycles for daily commuting amid rising petrol prices.
Free Bike Registration
In addition to the monetary relief, the government has also declared free motorcycle registration, a move expected to benefit thousands of unregistered bike owners. Officials say this step will not only reduce financial pressure on the public but also help improve the documentation and regulation of vehicles.
The announcement has been widely welcomed by the public, particularly students, workers, and delivery riders who depend heavily on motorcycles for transportation.
