US airstrikes on Iran again

US, Iran reach draft peace deal; announcement expected soon

TEHRAN: The US has once again launched airstrikes on Iran, targeting military targets near the Strait of Hormuz.

According to details, US officials claimed that the US military carried out new attacks on a military installation in the Iranian city of Bandar Abbas. US officials described the location as a threat to their military and commercial ships, saying that the aim of the attacks was to eliminate the threat posed to US forces and commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. The US military also shot down several Iranian drones.

US officials claimed that Iran fired 4 drones at a US merchant ship, but the US military shot down all the Iranian drones. The ship was near the Strait of Hormuz at the time of the attack.

On the other hand, in response to the US attacks, Iran targeted the US airbase in a retaliatory attack. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards targeted the US airbase in response to the fresh attacks in Bandar Abbas.

The statement issued by the Revolutionary Guards did not provide further details about the US airbase, but warned that if the US carries out further attacks, Iran will respond in the most severe and decisive manner, and the US itself will be responsible for the consequences of the escalation.

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that President Trump’s priority is negotiations with Iran, that progress has been made towards an agreement with Iran, and that the situation will be seen in the coming hours and days. Iran cannot be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.
