Bollywood actress Mouni Roy parts ways with Suraj Nambiar

MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Mouni Roy and Dubai-based businessman Suraj Nambiar have officially announced their separation after four years of marriage.

In a joint statement released on social media, the two said that they want to resolve this sensitive phase of their lives in a “private and dignified manner”, which is why they have appealed to the public and the media to respect their privacy and decision.

The statement said that for some time now, “false news and fabricated stories” have been circulating regarding their relationship, which are not based on reality.

Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar said that after mutual consultation and deliberation, they have decided to go their separate ways, keeping in mind their personal preferences. Both also emphasized that they will try to maintain their friendship and mutual respect in the future.

With her message, the actress requested that fans and the media avoid spreading baseless rumors and false news.

The announcement comes at a time when speculations about their separation have been rife on social media and in showbiz circles for the past few days.

According to reports, the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram, while there were also reports of Mouni Roy deleting or archiving their shared photos.
