FIFA drops official 2026 World Cup anthem ‘Dai Dai’

NEW YORK: The official song of the FIFA World Cup 2026, ‘Dai Dai’, has been officially unveiled, which was produced by world-renowned singer Shakira and Nigerian singer Burna Boy.

According to a statement issued by FIFA, the song has been released to support the ‘FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund’, while the proceeds from it will be spent on promoting children’s education around the world.

The announcement said that Shakira will also donate her royalties to the education fund, while the music production company initially announced a donation of $250,000.

FIFA has also confirmed that for the first time in history, a regular half-time show will be held at the World Cup 2026 final, in which Shakira will give a special performance.

On the other hand, ‘Dai Dai’ has been released on all major music streaming platforms, while more songs from the official FIFA World Cup 2026 album will also be released in the next few weeks.
