ANNAPOLIS: Famous Godzilla film actress Kaylee Hottle died at the age of 18 in a tragic car accident on Tuesday in the US state of Maryland.
According to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, the car struck a culvert after turning off a two-lane roadway.
The force, which arrived at the site at 2:52 am and is investigating the accident, stated that high speed is considered to be an important factor in the collision.
According to police, Hottle was carried to a hospital, but she could not survive. The driver is injured but out of danger, but the other passenger refused to take any medical aid.
The star actress was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actress in 2024.
The actress played the major role of “Jia” in Godzilla vs Kong and the sequel Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire.
The actress was deaf, born into a multigenerational Deaf family and a native user of American Sign Language (ASL).
Her father shared an emotional ASL video after her death, saying he was traveling from Texas to Maryland to bring her body home.
He also expressed forgiveness toward the driver and thanked people for their support.
