KARACHI: TV actress Hina Rizvi and her husband Ammar Ahmed Khan have called it quits after a year of tying the knot in a star-studded wedding.
The College Gate star took to social media to share a personal update with fans. In her statement, the 44-year-old actor requested for privacy and understanding during this difficult time.
“With a heavy heart, I announce that my husband Ammar Ahmed Khan and I have separated. I request everyone to respect our privacy, this was not an easy step, and we both need more time to decide what is best for the future of this relationship. Until then, please do not judge us, as the dynamics of a marriage are known only to the two people who are tied to it.”
Hina urged fans and media outlets to avoid speculation and negative comments, emphasizing the emotional toll of public judgment: “A humble request, please don’t make our lives miserable with your negative comments.”
Before the announcement, the actress posted several Instagram stories with reflections and emotional captions, hinting at personal challenges.
On the other hand, Ammar Ahmed Khan has not issued a statement regarding the separation.
