LAHORE: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) arrested popular YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, commonly referred to as Ducky Bhai, at Lahore Airport.
There has also been a two-day remand of the YouTuber by a Judicial Magistrate in Lahore to the Police.
The magistrate directed the police to produce Saad-ur-Rehman, also known as Ducky Bhai, before the court on August 19. It also requested the detailed report from the investigating officer.
The sources revealed that Ducky Bhai was being investigated in numerous cases, and his name appeared on the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL).
The sources stated that Ducky Bhai was trying to exit the country to escape legal action, but airport staff prevented him after finding his name on the list.
As per an NCCIA spokesperson, Ducky Bhai advertised several gambling apps through different videos on social media.
The accused had produced 27 videos for marketing gambling apps, the spokesman said, and the mobile phone of the accused has also been taken into custody for investigation.
It is to be mentioned that in April, two cases had been registered against him by the Motorway Police for performing reckless car stunts. He was accused of driving his foot on the steering wheel, and his car’s speed had reached up to 200km/h.
These incidents were reported at Chakri and Laksian police stations in Rawalpindi, following which Ducky Bhai took out bail to prevent arrest.
It should be noted that in 2024, Ducky Bhai, along with his wife Aroob Jatoi, was arrested by the police in the Model Town area of Lahore after showing guns on social media.
He is under investigation in several cases, according to authorities, and further legal action is on the cards.
