Iran Power System Attack Warning: Tehran issues strong response after Trump threat

Iran power system attack warning

Iran power system attack warning has increased tensions in the Middle East after a strong statement from Tehran. Officials say any attack on Iran’s electricity system will get a serious response.

According to Iranian military spokesman Ebrahim Zolfaghari, Iran could target key facilities in the region. These may include oil and gas sites, water plants, and information technology systems. He added that sites linked to the United States and Israel could also be affected.

This Iran power system attack warning came after a statement by former US President Donald Trump. He warned Iran to act within 48 hours to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Otherwise, Iran’s power plants could be targeted.

Meanwhile, past remarks from Ali Larijani have also resurfaced. He had earlier said that if Iran’s power system is attacked, the whole region could face blackout within minutes.

Experts say such strong statements can increase regional tensions. They also warn that energy supply systems around the world could be affected if the situation worsens.
