Iran targets Israeli leadership sites as tensions in the Middle East continue to rise.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that the 48th wave of Operation True Promise 4 began early Saturday. The group claimed it launched new attacks against Israeli and American targets.

According to the statement, Iran targets Israeli leadership sites as well as several locations linked to US forces in the region. Iranian officials said missiles and drones were used during the latest phase of the operation.

The spokesperson of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards said important locations related to Israeli leadership were among the targets. He also claimed that three sites connected to the US military were hit.

Iranian media reported that a suicide drone targeted the air defence system at the US Embassy in Baghdad.

Meanwhile, American media outlets said a missile struck near the helipad inside the US Embassy compound in Baghdad. After the attack, smoke was reportedly seen rising from the area.

Reports from US media also said that several explosions were heard near the Al Udeid Air Base, a major American military base in Qatar.

So far, there has been no official confirmation about casualties or damage from these incidents. However, the situation has raised concerns about further escalation between Iran, Israel, and the United States in the region.
