Iran Warns US Over Power Plants Attack, Threatens Regional Energy Infrastructure Response

Iran warns US over power plants attack

Iran warns US over power plants attack as tensions rise between Tehran and Washington over possible military action.

Iran has issued a strong warning to the United States.
The warning came after reported threats of targeting Iranian infrastructure, including power plants.

According to Iranian state media, a military spokesperson, Ebrahim Zolfaqari, said Tehran will respond firmly if its facilities are attacked.
He stressed that Iran is ready to act if the situation escalates.

The statement said that any US strike on Iranian power plants could trigger retaliation.
Iran may target key energy infrastructure across the region.

It also warned that telecommunications and information companies with US interests could be at risk.
These entities may face action if conflict expands.

The warning follows recent remarks by former US President Donald Trump.
He reportedly suggested that bridges and power plants in Iran could be future targets.

In a social media post, Trump said the US military has not yet fully acted against Iran.
He added that the next possible targets could include bridges, followed by power plants.

Trump also said Iran’s leadership knows what steps to take and should act quickly.
His remarks have added to rising concerns about further escalation.

Analysts say such statements from both sides increase the risk of wider regional tension.
They warn that energy infrastructure could become a key focus in any future conflict.

So far, there has been no confirmation of immediate military action.
However, the exchange of warnings highlights the fragile situation in the region.
