Pakistani dies in Dubai after debris from aerial interception hits vehicle in Al Barsha

Pakistani dies in Dubai

A Pakistani dies in Dubai after debris from an aerial interception hit his vehicle in the Al Barsha area, officials confirmed on Sunday.

The incident happened shortly after Iftar near Sheikh Zayed Road, behind the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai.

Authorities said the falling debris struck the vehicle and caused a brief fire. Emergency teams reached the scene quickly, but the driver could not survive.

Second Pakistani victim in recent incidents

Officials confirmed that this case means another Pakistani dies in Dubai during the ongoing tensions linked to the Middle East conflict.

The Al Barsha area is located along Sheikh Zayed Road, one of the busiest highways in the city.

Authorities said an investigation has started. Officials are checking whether the victim received emergency alerts on his mobile phone and if safety instructions were followed.

Casualties linked to regional conflict

The latest incident increases the death toll from recent attacks to four people. Among them are two Pakistani nationals.

Earlier, another Pakistani citizen, Murid Zaman from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was killed in Abu Dhabi. According to diplomatic officials, he died after missile fragments struck him during an Iranian missile attack.

Rising tensions in the Middle East

The region has seen serious instability after the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran.

Iran later responded with strikes targeting Israel and Gulf states that host American military bases.

According to Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, more than 1,300 Iranian civilians have been killed and thousands injured in the conflict.

Meanwhile, Iranian attacks have also caused deaths in Israel, while several US service members were reported killed.

Investigation continues

Dubai authorities are continuing their investigation into the Al Barsha incident.

Officials are reviewing safety procedures and emergency warning systems to understand how the tragedy happened.
