Pakistanis Repatriated from Iran has become a major development as 51 citizens safely returned home due to rising tensions in the region.
The first group crossed the Gabd–Rimdan border and re-entered Pakistan under official arrangements.
According to Gwadar Deputy Commissioner Naqeebullah Kakar, the returnees include five students.
Businesspersons and tourists were also among those who had been stranded in Iran.
The repatriation process started after the Iran-US and Israel conflict created serious security concerns.
Authorities said the situation forced many Pakistanis to seek immediate return.
At the border, the Federal Investigation Agency set up 24-hour immigration counters.
Officials are completing travel and security documents on priority to reduce delays.
On the instructions of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, local administration arranged temporary stay and meals.
Transport assistance is also being provided to help citizens reach their hometowns.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure safe return of all Pakistanis stranded in Iran.
He also instructed officials to coordinate with Azerbaijan for safe travel arrangements.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised citizens to avoid non-essential travel to Iran.
Pakistanis currently in Iran have been told to remain alert and stay in contact with Pakistani missions.
Officials confirmed that Pakistanis Repatriated from Iran is an ongoing process.
More citizens are expected to return in the coming days as authorities continue coordination efforts.
