Pakistan Super League has always been known for its lively crowds. However, this season, stadiums have remained largely empty, affecting the overall atmosphere.
Salman Iqbal, owner of Karachi Kings, said he feels deeply concerned seeing empty stands. He stated that being part of the league since its start, such scenes are painful.
He urged Shehbaz Sharif to allow spectators to return to stadiums. According to him, the real charm of PSL depends on the energy of fans.
Other franchise representatives also supported this stance. Gohar Shah said they strongly want fans back. Atif Rana added that PSL feels incomplete without crowds.
Fawad Sarwar shared that in their debut season, they are missing fan presence. Javed Afridi highlighted that PSL connects millions of people and unites the nation.
Ali Naqvi and Ahsan Tahir also requested authorities to reopen stadiums for spectators.
Franchise owners believe PSL 11 empty stadiums are reducing the excitement of matches. They hope the government will soon allow fans so the true spirit of cricket can return.
