WASHINGTON: Trump praises Asim Munir Shehbaz Sharif during the first formal meeting of the Gaza Peace Board held in Washington, DC. The meeting was organized to support peace and rebuilding efforts in Gaza.
The Peace Board was created by US President Donald Trump. Diplomatic teams from different countries attended the event and met global leaders to discuss future plans.
During his opening speech, Trump praised Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir. He called him a great military leader and a strong fighter. Trump said Munir appreciated his efforts to stop wars and save lives.
Trump also thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He said he likes Shehbaz Sharif and values his support for ceasefire efforts. Trump praised Pakistan’s role in promoting peace.
The US president also spoke about tensions between Pakistan and India. He claimed he helped prevent a war and warned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi about trade tariffs if conflict continued.
Talking about Gaza, Trump criticized Hamas and said the situation remains complicated. He expressed hope that peace agreements would be followed soon. He also mentioned possible progress in talks with Iran.
Trump said many countries joined the Peace Board to support Gaza’s future. He confirmed that members promised $7 billion in aid. He added that the United States would provide $10 billion for rebuilding Gaza.
He also said FIFA would help raise $75 million for development projects.
Trump shared his vision of a peaceful Middle East. He said countries like Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan are working together for stability.
Trump said the Gaza Peace Board aims to bring long-term peace, economic growth, and stability to the region.
