SWAT: At least 11 people lost their lives, and seven others were injured in a collision between a passenger van and a bus on the Swat Expressway.

According to initial details, the accident occurred near Ismailia when a passenger van collided with a bus.

Officials said the bus involved in the incident was travelling from Karachi to Buner, while the van was travelling from Rawalpindi to Dir.

According to rescue authorities, the passenger bus was reportedly standing on the roadside when the van approaching from behind hit it at high speed.

Initial reports suggest the accident may have resulted from alleged negligence and overspeeding by the van driver, though authorities are continuing their investigation.
