23 passengers died as a passenger bus fell into a deep ravine in Palandri area of AJK

SADHNOTI: At least 23 passengers were killed and eight others seriously wounded when a passenger bus fell into a deep ravine at Manjiari area of Palandari in district Sadhnoti of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
According to the details, the passenger bus fell into a deep ravine at Manjiari area of Palandari on a way to Rawalpindi from Baloch Bhaitak Awan Abad. In the result of the accident 23 people died on the spot including three children and four women.
Locals and rescue workers reached on the spot and shifted the injured and dead bodies to Kotli district hospital. The condition of four to five passengers is also critical.
President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry and Prime Minister AJK Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in the accident. They have also directed the concerned officials to provide best medical facilities to the injured persons.
