2,800 watchmen to be hired for schools in KP

Pakistan Navy announces Sailor jobs

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has officially approved the recruitment of 2,800 watchmen for government schools in 28 districts of the province.

According to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department, the process of appointments to fill the vacant posts in schools will be completed transparently.

The Finance Department says that all recruitments will be made on the basis of advertisement, competition, and only merit so that opportunities can be provided to eligible candidates.

The new recruitments aim to improve the security of schools and ensure discipline in educational institutions.

According to the data, the maximum number of 377 posts has been allocated in Mansehra district, while 263 posts have been approved for Bannu, 256 for Mardan, 162 for Peshawar, 160 for Lakki Marwat, and 154 for Abbottabad.

According to the Education Department, vacancies have also been allocated in other districts in proportion to the population and number of educational institutions, while the recruitment process is likely to be completed soon.
