RAWALPINDI: Security forces responded forcefully to the Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists, killing all 30 militants involved in the attack in Orakzai.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a series of counter-operations are underway against the terrorists involved in the Orakzai incident.
Based on intelligence, an operation was conducted in Jamal Maya area of Orakzai. 30 Indian-sponsored Khawarij were killed in the exchange of fire.
According to the ISPR, the successful operations are revenge for the terrorists’ vile attack. The main facilitators of the terrorists were killed in the operations.
The Public Relations Department says that a clearance operation is underway to find and eliminate more terrorists in the area. The Pakistan Army is determined and steadfast to completely eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorism.
Earlier, 11 soldiers, including a Lieutenant Colonel and a Second-in-Command Major, were martyred during an operation by security forces in Orakzai two days ago, while 19 Khawarij were killed in the forces’ counter-operation.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the intelligence-based operation was carried out on the night of October 7-8, during which 11 brave soldiers were martyred.
The ISPR said that Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Tariq was leading the team from the front, while the second-in-command, Major Tayyab Rahat, also martyred.
