LAHORE: ABN News has obtained key details from the statements of two foreign women in the high-profile kidnapping and alleged sexual assault case, revealing how they escaped their alleged captors and alerted police.
According to the statement of one of the women, the suspects were transporting them in a vehicle when it collided with another car. Seizing the opportunity, she and Stephanie jumped out of the moving vehicle, ran onto the road, and began screaming for help.
The two women then rushed to a nearby mechanic’s workshop, Filter House, where they sought refuge and contacted the police, leading to their rescue.
Meanwhile, the statement of the second foreign woman, Stephanie, has also surfaced. She told investigators that she and her companion had been invited to Pakistan by their business partner, Ahmed Raza Dar, to meet potential investors.
Stephanie stated that the two women arrived in Pakistan on June 26 and stayed in Islamabad until June 29. During their visit, they travelled to Nathia Gali, visited various restaurants, and went shopping.
She further stated that on June 28, Ahmed Raza Dar took them to meetings with prospective investors as part of their business trip. According to her statement, the two women later travelled to Lahore on the night of June 29.
The statements have become part of the ongoing investigation into the case. Police are continuing to examine the allegations, while the accused will have the opportunity to present their defence during legal proceedings.
