PESHAWAR: The senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Amin Gandapur has confirmed his resignation from the post of Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Senior lawyer Salman Akram Raja has confirmed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has decided to oust Ali Amin Gandapur from the seat of Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It has been decided that Ali Amin Gandapur will no longer be the Chief Minister,” Salman Akram Raja told Dawn, confirming the news. He stated that Sohail Afridi would be made the new Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Raja said that Imran Khan personally decided to remove Gandapur. Discussing the prevailing security situation, Salman Akram Raja remarked that acts of terrorism have become more frequent this year, resulting in numerous casualties.
