BAJAUR: In Bajaur district’s Khar Tehsil, a police vehicle struck a roadside bomb, injuring three police personnel, here on Saturday.
As per the details, DSP Abdul Aziz has said that SHO Shah Pur Khan was on a routine patrol when the incident occurred in the Bhai Chainah area, while the SHO wan unharmed, the three personnel sustained injures.
The injured were promptly transferred to the headquarters hospital in Khar. Police have collected evidence from scene and launched a search operation in the area to apprehend the suspects.
There was a sudden explosion due to explosives placed in tin containers on the roof of a shop in the local market.
According to the police, the explosives were attached to pieces of iron, which were deliberately placed to create panic among the public, which was expected to affect business activities in the area.
Authorities are investigating the incident, which they believe was intended to disrupt market operations rather than cause direct damage.
According to the police spokesman, there was no loss of life or property due to the explosion, the situation is under control, and further security measures are being taken.
