QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has decided to conduct an impartial survey to assess the performance of cleanliness.
An important meeting was chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti.
In which a detailed briefing was given by Safa Quetta and the Municipal Corporation on the current cleanliness arrangements in the city.
During the meeting, the Balochistan Chief Minister expressed dissatisfaction with the overall cleanliness situation in Quetta and said that providing a clean and healthy environment to the citizens is the top priority of the government.
He decided to conduct an impartial survey to assess the performance of cleanliness.
The Balochistan Chief Minister directed the officials of the concerned institutions to bring immediate and effective improvements in the cleanliness system.
He also issued instructions to establish an effective complaint system for the immediate redressal of cleanliness-related complaints.
It was decided in the meeting that action will be taken against those who throw garbage in open places instead of in the designated places.
Sarfaraz Bugti made it clear that no negligence will be tolerated in the matter of cleanliness. A clean, healthy and organized Quetta is part of the government’s commitment.
However, public cooperation along with institutions is also indispensable in cleaning the city.
