LAHORE: The Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, announced through social media that the Basant festivities brought happiness and unity to Lahore and the entire country of Pakistan, which she declared as official Basant celebrations extended until 5:00 AM of the following day.
The extension serves as a reward for the people of Lahore who celebrated Basant by following all safety SOPs with complete discipline.
She asked people to celebrate safely by avoiding electric wires while securing rooftops and following all safety instructions, which would create a safe and memorable historic Basant experience for everyone.
