NORTH WAZIRISTAN: A deadly bomb blast struck Razmak, a subdivision of North Waziristan, claiming the lives of at least four people and injuring eight others. Law enforcement agencies have been deployed to the scene to investigate the nature of the explosion.
As per details, the district administration said that the blast occurred when explosives placed on a motorcycle exploded, killing four on the spot.
Rescue teams have transported the injured to Category D Hospital in Razmak for medical treatment. This incident marks the latest in a surge of violent attacks in North Waziristan, including targeted killings and militant strikes.
In response, President Asif Ali Zardari extended his condolences to the families of the victims, reaffirming his commitment to rooting out terrorism in the country.
In a statement from the President’s House, Zardari expressed his hope that the deceased would be granted a place in Jannah and that their loved ones would find the strength to cope with their loss. He also wished for a speedy recovery for those injured in the blast.
Earlier in the day, at least 38 people, including police and Levies personnel, were martyred in different gun attack incidents in Balochistan’s Kalat, Musakhel, and Bolan districts.

In another horrific incident, armed men killed at least 23 passengers in Balochistan’s Musakhel district after offloading them from trucks and buses. People raising their voices on social media platform X to express their anger and grief about the ongoing situation in Balochistan.
According to SP Ayub Achakzai, armed men stopped the vehicles on the national highway in the Rarah Sham area of Musa Khel and killed at least 23 passengers hailing from different parts of Punjab. During the action, the armed men also set 10 vehicles on fire.
