ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has unconditionally apologized for the violence against journalists by workers.
Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar has unconditionally apologized for the violence against journalists by workers outside Adiala Jail. After the apology of the PTI Chairman, the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) ended its protest.
It is clear that PTI leaders and workers had abused and tortured journalists for asking tough questions to Aleema Khan outside Adiala Jail.
After the incident, journalists were in full protest and demanded an apology from PTI. After which the PTI Chairman apologized unconditionally.
Earlier, the PTI leadership expressed serious reservations over the incident and decided to form a committee to investigate.
According to sources, the leadership has also started considering giving a show-cause notice to Naeem Haider Panjhota, expressing serious reservations over his action.
