Ali Amin Gandapur political activity sparks speculation

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has resigned from his post, here on Wednesday.

Ali Amin Gandapur has sent his resignation to the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Ali Amin Gandapur, while issuing a statement on social media, said that the position of Chief Minister was a trust of Imran Khan, and as per the order of the founder of PTI, I am returning the trust to him and resigning.

He said that on the orders of my leader and founder PTI, I am resigning under Article 130 of the Constitution.

Ali Amin Gandapur said that when he became the Chief Minister, the province was suffering from financial crisis and terrorism. During his tenure, he restored financial stability and peace to the province, and we led the war-torn province towards reconstruction.

Ali Amin Gandapur said that he thanked the cabinet, members of the assembly and administrative officers for their support.

It should be noted that Secretary General PTI Salman Akram Raja, while talking to the media, confirmed the removal of Ali Amin Gandapur from the Chief Ministership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Secretary General PTI had said that the founder of PTI has ordered Ali Amin to resign, we believe that it is better for Ali Amin to leave this post now, we have to announce a new policy and make a new start.

Salman Akram Raja said that there will be no problem, Ali Amin will resign and the assembly will elect Sohail Afridi as the Chief Minister.
