The family was already in a state of shock after the death of a nephew earlier that day, which may have further weakened Ismail’s  already fragile mental state, leading him to commit the heinous act.

Deputy Commissioner Dr Lubna Nazir has directed hospital authorities to ensure that Khalid receives the best possible medical care.

Musarrat’s funeral prayers were held at the family’s ancestral home, where relatives and neighbors gathered to mourn the tragedy. She was buried later the same day.

Saddar Police have filed a case with Sections 302 and 324 of the Pakistan Penal Code under the complaint filed by Muhammad Sabir, the relative of the victims. He said the family had gone into shock recently, and that the fragile state of Ismail’s mind  resulted in the committing of the unfortunate act.

The incident has shocked the community, and an investigation is being carried out to understand the circumstances of the tragedy. The community is coming together to support the family at this difficult time, and efforts are being made to ensure that Khalid receives the best possible care to aid in his recovery.
