Rs 2 million snatched from man outside Allied Bank Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A robbery of unusual boldness was committed outside the Allied Bank Aabpara branch, where Rs 2 million were snatched from a man identified as Sheroz.

According to the reports, Sheroz withdrew the money from the bank at 3:15 pm and just eleven minutes later, at 3:26 pm, the robbers descended, snatching the notes from Sheroz.

Sheroz claimed there were four people involved in the incident, with the security guard and victim being able to identify the robbers.

The thieves escaped in the opposite direction from the bank, fleeing the scene in no time. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident and have obtained CCTV footage to help with their inquiry.
