ISLAMABAD: A famous bakery outlet in Islamabad “Crusteez Donuts” has issued an apology statement regarding the incident involving one of its employees, who reportedly refused to entertain Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa and instead hurled invectives at him.
“At Crusteez Donuts, we are committed to treating every customer with respect and fairness. We are aware of a video circulating where an employee refused service to a customer. This action was an individual decision and does not reflect our company’s values,” read the apology issued by the bakery shop on its social media platforms.
“We are investigating the situation to understand the context fully. While respecting personal beliefs, service should never be denied based on individual opinions. We are reinforcing training across all locations to ensure our teams uphold our standards of inclusivity and professionalism,” it added
“We apologize to the customers involved and to those impacted. Thank you for your understanding as we address this matter.”
Netizens are abuzz with a viral video, shared by an Islamabad-based journalist, showing Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa along with his wife and daughter buying some pastries from a local donuts store in the federal capital.
A video trending on social media platforms was recorded by an employee of the store himself with a hidden mobile phone, which was unknown to Chief Justice.

The employee of the store, named Crusteez Donuts, can be listened to confirming CJP about his name and cursing him. He said, “Ap Isa Faez Hain….. Lanat ho Ap Pe…”
Several users on X claimed that the employee who confronted CJP Isa has been abducted since it happened and the donut shop has been sealed.
Sources privy to the development told Daily Ausaf that this incident happened 45 days ago and the Crusteez Donuts was sealed for a few days but was re-opened afterward.
Twitteratis shared different reactions on social media some condemning the incident while others terming it with a phrase, you reap what you sow.
A user of X, Graduate Talks, wrote, “What happened to CJP Qazi Faez Isa at Crusteez Donuts is not admirable. He was with his family, wife, and daughter. You have all the rights to disagree with him but this is not the way to register your disagreement.”
A journalist, Kiran Khan, said, “Shame for such disrespectful behavior with CJ Qazi Faez Isa sb.”
Another user shared that Crusteez’s items on Food Panda, an online food delivery platform, were most popular among consumers right after the incident, showing support for the employee.
